Ellie is a holistic Clinical Nutritionist with a simple core belief: food is medicine.
At Slow Burn, her approach to health is grounded and sustainable — honouring seasonal produce, mindful living and the understanding that meaningful outcomes take time. Slow Burn embraces small, intentional lifestyle shifts that create lasting change. Together, you build a foundation where you feel safe, regulated and at home in your body - because that’s where true health begins.
Ellie specialises in women’s health, with a focus on gut health, hormonal imbalance, histamine-related concerns, nervous system support and postpartum depletion. She looks beyond symptom management to uncover the root drivers of imbalance, helping you regulate, restore and reconnect with your body in a way that feels steady, supportive and achievable.
She is deeply passionate about sharing the knowledge of how good food supports a good mood!!! Her lived experience of motherhood deeply informs her practice - shaping a compassionate, realistic and nervous-system-aware approach to health that honours the season of life you’re in.
Following comprehensive case taking and investigation to identify the root cause of your symptoms, Ellie collaborates with you to create an individualised treatment plan that aligns with your lifestyle and values. She can interpret functional and pathology test results, and facilitate additional testing including comprehensive pathology, microbiome (stool) analysis and OAT testing where appropriate.
Ellie holds a Bachelor of Health Science (Clinical Nutrition) and is professionally recognised with the Australian Natural Therapists Association (ANTA).
Consultations are available in Adelaide and online.
